Having Trouble Setting Up Your Outfitter XXL Cot? Here Are Some Helpful Tips!Updated a month ago

If you're having trouble attaching the last end bar of your cot, it's unlikely to be an issue with the cot itself. Each cot is fully set up before leaving production to ensure everything is functioning properly. If you're experiencing difficulty, here are some troubleshooting tips to help:

  • Adjust the Canvas: Slide the canvas towards the end where you're having trouble attaching the bar. Make sure it is evenly positioned on both sides. If needed, undo the opposite end, insert the last corner, and then reattach the corner you undid to adjust the canvas evenly.

  • Check the Legs: Make sure the cot legs are fully extended and that the top part of the legs is securely seated in the bottom sections. Misalignment of the legs can prevent the end bar from lining up correctly.

  • Inspect the Pivot Arm: Ensure the pivot arm is correctly positioned when attempting to attach the last end bar. If the pivot arm is bent or not fully inserted, it can block the end bar from attaching properly.

  • Ensure the Cot Is on a Flat Surface: Make sure the cot is set up on a flat and even surface. An uneven surface can make it difficult to align the end bar and secure the last corner.
