What are the differences between the Scout and Explorer packs?Updated a month ago

The main difference between the Scout and Explorer packs is the frame size:

  • Scout: 3/4 frame, adjustable torso from 15" to 19.5".

  • Explorer: Full 4/4 frame, adjustable torso from 19" to 23".

The frame size impacts torso coverage, with the Explorer offering more for longer torsos and the Scout better suited for shorter torsos.

Both packs are made from the same materials and come with an integrated rain cover in the bottom pocket. Here are the feature differences:

  • Explorer: Has a hip belt pocket, four attachment loops (no bungee), a front mesh pocket, gear loops, a pass-through pocket on one side, and three side pockets.

  • Scout: No hip belt pocket, has a lid bungee roll and another bungee roll on the front panel, and two side pockets (no pass-through).
